MASS ETIQUETTE

(DO'S AND DON'TS WHEN ATTENDING MASS)


1.FAST: Do not eat any food an hour before the Mass. Only water is allowed.


2.ARRIVE EARLY: Allow 10-15 minutes for meditation before the Mass.


3.DO NOT EAT: Eating is not allowed during Mass.


4.DRESS PROPERLY: This is to show decency and honor to God.


5.NO PHONES: Turn your mobile phones off.


6.GENUFLECT: Kneel on your right knee in the direction of the tabernacle before sitting.


7.PARTICIPATE: Sing, respond, listen, and pray.


8.EXAMINE CONSCIENCE: Examine your conscience beforehand.


9.THINK OF OTHERS: Respect the pew and queue.


10.BE STILL: Don't be in a hurry. Enjoy and feel God's presence and thank Him for His graces.
